Bills players are set to report for the team's 2004 training camp at St. John Fisher College on Saturday, July 31, and team President and General Manager Tom Donahoe is optimistic that everyone - including unsigned first rounders Lee Evans (13th overall) and J.P. Losman (22nd) - will be in attendance when camp opens.
"We've made progress," Donahoe said updating negotiations with Evans and Losman on Wednesday. "We're talking each day, sometimes a couple of times each day. We have two players who want to be in camp on time. We are working toward that goal."
As of Wednesday morning, just nine of the League's 32 first round draft picks had agreed to a contract. However, some structure may be laid out for the Bills, as six players drafted 10-21 overall are under contract.
