Did you know that a majority of the "American" cars are not made in America anymore? Plus, Toyota and I think even Honda have plants in this country now. :D

Fords are POS's. And don't even get my started about Chevys. I've had so many problems with my Chevy and everyone I know who had a chevy said the same thing. I'm looking for reliability. I don't want to have to put much money in this car. I want it to last me at least 8 years or more.

Chevrolet has come a loooooong way since the late 80's/early 90's.....the reliability used to be spotty but now, with any model from about 1995 and up....you can expect as good if not better reliability than imports....even if they depreciate faster than a woman's jugs after having a couple kids...

Doesn't matter if a Toyota, Honda, or Nissan is "assembled" in the US, they are made JAPAN!

Toyota is decen - Nissans are just horrid

Honda is probably in the top 3 of all makes in the world. They run forever. A friend of myne is going on 200,000 miles with his Honda and no problems except for the usual oil/tire change.

Get a BMW if you can. There the best at needing no repairs. Following closely in 2nd by Honda.

i am not a big car hater just because of the maker.. either i like the spefic car, or i dont..

i dont like small cars.. i dont care who makes them.. except that minicooper.. that thing just looks fun to drive.. and if you have seen bourne identity or supremacy.. you know what i mean..

i almost bought a montero sport.. but it felt a bit too light in the doors.. maybe that is lame.. but i just felt like when i shut the door.. i wanted to hear a heavy thud.. not an empty "clink".. i do really like the way they look..

i have always loved the 4 runners.. they are just unreasonably priced.. my blazer is fully loaded with the zr2 package on it.. and it cost 31k new in 2001.. i couldnt touch a 4 runner of the same quality for under 40k.

i dont like the explorers.. not because they are fords... which happens to be my last name.. but because i just dont like the way they look.

i have seen pics of mikey.. i think he would look good in a mini cooper.. what do you think?
