    Kirwan: Pats better this year...

Pat Kirwan visited Patriots practice and came away thinking they are improved over last season.

I have to say I agree with him. Dillon is going to add a whole new dimension to the Pats. They are still very good on defense and ST, and their offense will be significantly improved with Brady, Dillon and a very deep group of receivers.

I normally try to curb any enthusiasm early on in the season, and with the Patriots it has been easy in the past as they have been a team that has had holes despite their winning. However, this team has continued to add young players in the last few years, and they now have fewer holes while still maintaining the depth that has helped them win in recent seasons.

This is easily the most talent the Pats have had assembled in the Belichick era.

    Visually stunning but camera-shy.
