You know, it bugged me to vote for J R as the TE. What has he domne this year?

Um, after reading Jay's stats, for some info on this thread, I find he has 18 snags for an average of 11.2 per. So disregard the above line.

He may not be setting the numbers he once did for us, but he's a work horse, just the same.

He's there when we need him to be. We just have so many targets and a QB that can get the ball to those targets that he isn't needed for receptions too often.

I think coach Gilbrides schemes are more aggressive and dont involve the TE's much. Offcourse, i agree with it cuz we have 1.Moulds 2.Price 3.Reed.

True about the lack of need for the TE.

We needed JR, when DF or RJ got in trouble, and had to find someone quick. That is what made him worth what he makes today. IMHO, he is now disposable.

how much would we save by letting him go after this season??

I guess this is a good question for CP.

Apparently, he will be a big cap hit for us next year. I think I heard the figure 1.5 mil.

NOw you're making look for brain cells that are not working.

I don't know how it was worked out. I do know that JR is making more than Eric Moulds.

Not when it's bed time.

Clump wil be able to tell yuou about JR's deal and how much it will cost us. Whether the scheme includes a lot of TE work or not, it is still one of the toughest positions to play, and much needed.
