All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
somebody needs to smack mike in the head and to deal with his grandmothers death. I mean I know how it feels to lose a grandparent , but at the same time if I remember correctly that happend sometime ago.
I have emotional issues too (who doesn't) but if I don't show for work I won't get fined but they will replace the "n" in the word "fined" with an "r". Big Wuss Williams; go practice and then sulk all you want. You are employed by the Buffalo Bills and you are making a large amount of money. Go to work! People are depending on you.
This is one of the problems with the salary cap. You can't cut players for insubordination. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying we cut big Mike. But remember when Albert Connell stole money out of Deuce McAllisters locker? Haslett couldn’t even cut (or fire) him immediately because the Saints would have taken a cap hit. Ridiculous, the NFL needs a clause to protect teams.
Buffalo Bills tackle Mike Williams failed to show for the team's practice Tuesday and will be fined.
Bills President Tom Donahoe said Williams was scheduled to attend Tuesday's session after being excused Monday for personal reasons.
Donahoe added Williams will be fined again if he fails to attend either of Wednesday's two practices.
"He'll be fined each day he's not here. He's under contract with the Buffalo Bills and he should be here with his teammates," Donahoe said.
Neither Williams or his agent David Dunn could be reached for comment.
Donahoe said he spoke to both men but would not reveal details of those conversations. He would not divulge a reason for Williams' absence and said he did not know when Williams would return.
