BillsZone Training Camp Scoop from Tom Donahoe's mouth...

I saw Tom Donahoe at camp today. He came by the bus stop to sign a few autographs and while he was there, I asked him a couple of questions.

Mikey82: "Mr. Donahoe, did you look at bringing in Pete Kendall from Arizona?"

Tom Donahoe: "Yes, we did. But we didn't like him. We like what we have."

Mikey82: "What's the status on Mike Williams? I noticed he was not out on the field."

Tom Donahoe: "He was not out there today." (He gave me a quick, short tempered answer and looked kind of irritated)

I just asked him like a fan. I didn't say who I was or where I was from. I've talked with him before, and usually he is not so short tempered. I think the Williams issue ticked him off a little bit.

It should tick him off. He has a lot riding on that draft pick

I know. If that high paid #1 draft pick turns out to be a bust, that really screws Donahoe over, BADLY! Although I will admit, Marcus Price is doing a great job filling in at RT for him.

I don't think MW sucking is going to hurt us that badly - I really don't think there was that significant of a difference between him and Price last year. Where it will hurt if Wiliams takes a step back is when he has to step in for Jennings injury.

How can you tell how he is doing at RT? He is going against Denney. That would make anyone look like a probowler.
