...two very strong backs, do you think Travis Henry can get over 1500+ all purpose yards?

I still think he is and will remain one of the best backs in the league, but McGahee has me worried. (For Henry and not the team) It sure is going to be nice having two very talented backs.

hey nbf...good to see you ...

McGahee doesn't worry me. I don't see him being more than a bit player...8-10 carries a game at most.

I agree. I'd give him 8-14 touch opporuntiies a game.. But if we were up by a touchdown with the ball in the 4th quarter, with a tired defense facing us, I'd send Willis out there and give it to him three straight plays to see what happens.

Yes. He should get alot more touches out of the backfield.

Personally, I hope to see THenry with 1500 all purpose yards with McGahee over 500 APY...

I see him being used much like Carolina used DeShaun Foster last year and how the Saints used Deuce when Ricky was there. Make sure he gets his reps but use the workhouse so you can get good value for him.

You could see in last nights practice that Henry is way ahead of WM. Henry is on fire and is obviously fighting to keep his job. Willis isn't really impressing anyone right now.

Isn't this the last year on Henry's contract? If so look for him to kick some serious ass.

I think he's signed through 2005.

:phew: I thought it expired this year. That's relief. He still has to put up Pro Bowl numbers with McGahee breathing down his neck.

Oh and stop dropping the damn ball too.

He signed a one-year extension a few years which was way below his market value. It got out that he needed the $ asap b/c his bank account was running low.
