From the AP wire ....

Bills FB Burns out with high ankle sprain

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) Backup fullback Joe Burns will miss an extended period of time after sustaining a high ankle sprain during Buffalo Bills training camp.
Burns wore a protective boot on his left foot while watching practice from the sideline on Thursday. Coach Mike Mularkey didn't provide a timetable for Burns' recovery other than to say he'll be out for a while.
He was hurt on Wednesday when a teammate rolled up on his leg while he was blocking during a goal-line drill.
Burns is a two-year veteran who has appeared in 26 games, including one start, with Buffalo. He had 39 carries for 113 yards, and seven catches for 62 yards in 16 games last season.
He is competing for the team's backup job behind Daimon Shelton, a six-year veteran signed by the Bills in January.

Burns isn't even playing the same position as Henry and McGahee this year, why is he behind them on the depth chart?

Burns is a FB this year. I think him and Lawton are the only backups to Shelton.

Besides Travis, Burns is the only proven tailback on the roster.
