Funny thing with camp... You don't know to be happy the defense it playing well or pissed that the O is playing poorly.

Question - what's up with Reed? In your report, you mentioned a ton of catches by Shaw but only one by Reed. Is he hurt, not playing much or just not getting open?

If the latter, I'm wondering about the WR lineup. It could be Moulds, Evans, Shaw...then Reed and Aiken....

I've noticed Reed isn't getting open much. I wonder if that's because they seem to line him up against Troy Vincent a lot. i'm not sure. But I'll keep an eye on it for ya.

Travis definitely and he's doing the best job. He's dominating, especially up the middle. But they give Willis a lot of touches with the 2nd and 3rd teamers too.

Interesting you should say that about Shaw. A few months ago I predicted Shaw would be cut and everyone jumped down my throat.

I just don't see where he fits in. What you see with him is what you get. He is o.k. but he has leveled off. Coleman and Aiken have more upside, in my opinion.

I agree, and both of them have started to shine during training camp this year. Aiken is catching a lot and so is Coleman.

If Shaw or Reed are productive in the preseason- I can possibly one getting dealt to Tampa or another team in need - like Olandis Gary did last year.

I don't see it being Reed. Reed was great in the slot during his rookie season and that is all that is expected of him this year.

From reading your last couple reports, I'm starting to wonder if Reed is fit to be a starter... Even though Shaw looks like he lost a step, he seems to be getting some good seperation. Who is mainly covering him and/or what position # is he at?

Shaw is getting all those passes, because he is working with both Losman and Brown too. Reed seems to only be working with Bledsoe. Shaw is getting more reps with the backups.
