PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills signed first-round pick Mike Williams on Saturday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the contract is expected to make Williams the highest-paid rookie in Bills history and the team's third-highest paid player behind quarterback Drew Bledsoe and receiver Eric Moulds........MORE.... Where's clumpy when you need him?

Since Drew is making about $5-6 million, and Reuben Brown is behind him at (a guess here) around $4 Million, I say he's getting a 5 year $24 Million contract with bonuses

Shelby: " I hope he earns all that money"
No truer words were ever spoken. Great thought shelby:up: A lot of players are being paid a lot and never even earned it.

How much do you guys think Butler would've paid him?
One things for sure Big Mike would've been competition for Butler at the buffet table:drool:

I believe Moulds is the highest paid Bill. He got a $42M 6 year deal. I'm not sure how they measure DB since we're only paying him his salary of $5M this year, $5.5M next, and $6M in '04. I would imagine that they're including his bonus since it's a part of his contract even though we're not paying it.

If they include DB's bonus that N.E. paid him, then MW will be getting a lot more than $24M over 5 years. I'd guess an $8-10M bonus, and maybe $38M overall for 6 years or around $34M for 5 years.

According the D&C it's a 6 year deal w/ an $11M SB. Nothing else was mentioned.

it's hard to get anybody signed when you have a fork in one hand and a turkey leg in the other.
