10. 1990 Bills (125 letters)
"Wide right" is perhaps the only thing keeping the 1990 Buffalo Bills off your list. This team featured perhaps as many as seven Hall of Fame players and came within two feet of ending the NFC's Super Bowl winning streak. No one had a solution for the K-Gun offense, special teams were superb and the defense was on it's way to becoming one of the best around.
I know this sounds a bit crazy, but I think this has probably been more detrimental to the Bills than anything else. Think about how many times our special teams let us down (and I don't just mean the Home Run ThrowForward) The special teams have so much to do with momentum and field position that it is like a domino effect if they do poorly (or well, as in those years).
Levy always said there are three teams to make it happen.
Food for thought anyway....Last edited by Mr. Cynical; 08-09-2004, 07:14 PM.

They were such a great team. It's a shame they didn't win one. We really didn't realize what we had back then, I wish we could get something going like we did back then. It was so nice to know you were gonna win almost every year.
