    Bills good for tourism

Checking out the Buffalo Bills training camp has become an annual venture for the Sacilowski family.
Michael Sacilowski usually makes a day trip to Rochester from Cheektowaga, Erie County, with sons Trevor, 10, and Noah, 7, to see the Bills players up-close.

The kids really have a good time,” said Michael Sacilowski, a research assistant at State University of New York at Buffalo. β€œIt's well-run.”

And isn't there some attraction up there involving water or something?

If you're talking about Niagara Falls, it's a two-hour drive from Rochester (where Bills Camp is). If you're talking about Lake Ontario, well, it's too cold and filthy to be much of a draw for out-of-towners (but locals love it).

Interesting article though- when I lived in Rochester the entire tourism industry consisted of our out-of-town relatives coming to visit every other year.
