Bills Hope to ‘Turnover’ a New Leaf

The Buffalo Bills defense finished second overall last season in terms of yardage, but something seemed to be missing - takeaways. The Bills forced only 18 turnovers in all of 2003 making them among the NFL's worst. This past Saturday, however, things looked like they may change.

The Bills defense came up with three takeaways in a scrimmage against the Cleveland Browns at St. John Fisher College. They intercepted two passes and even returned a fumble 76 yards for a touchdown.

After surrendering a big run to Browns running back Lee Suggs, the defense didn't crumble and came up with a big interception inside the five yard line. Free safety Izell Reese, picked off a deflected Jeff Garcia pass to end the drive deep in the red zone.

Adding Vincent adds a few more TOs in my opinion.
