    Bills full of enthusiasm, talent

Last year, I left Bills camp and really felt they had a chance to have a successful season, and it sure looked that way when they opened their season with a 31-0 shutout of the New England Patriots. The second week it was another win and 38 more points, so I was convinced they weathered the storm of losing Peerless Price.

Wrong. It took them six more games to score more points than they did in the first two weeks. The reality was they never scored more than 26 points again in any game, and after giving up just two sacks in the first two games, they gave up 49 in the next 14 games to finish last in the NFL in that department.

I went to Buffalo this year with a different view of the team. As one high ranking Bills official said, "We can't talk about it anymore -- we have to do it." I agree, and I believe they have taken some of the steps necessary to right the Bills ship.

Eight wins? No thanks! I want 10-12 wins and will not be happy unless we get there.
