I've been away and did not know if anybody posted this...
The numbers look like this (these are base salary numbers and are not reflective of the cap hit of either player):
Evans:
2004 230000.00
2005 311250.00
2006 542500.00
2007 773750.00
2008 1005000.00
2009 1236250.00
Losman:
2004 230000.00
2005 305000.00
2006 385000.00
2007 550000.00
2008 650000.00
Amazing stuff. I read that Losman has no signing bonus this year. If that is true then he is playing for the league minimum. Evans is reported to have a $2.2 mil signing bonus (which would be divided by 6 years)...that means his cap hit is only $366,667 this year.
For what I have dug up the cap hits look like this:
Evans:
2004 $366,667
2005 $1,077,917
2006 $1,309,167
2007 $1,540,417
2008 $1,771,667
2009 $2,002,917
Losman:
2004 230000.00 (right now it is actually zero because he is not one of the top 51 but when he makes the team it will count)
2005 $1,330,000
2006 $1,571,667
2007 $1,741,667
2008 $1,841,667
Depending on the other bonuses the actual final cap hit will change. However, these are incredible contracts for the Bills. TD did a mighty fine job getting them under contract.
