I think there is a strong chance the following guys get cut and don't make the final roster:

Marques Sullivan
Pierson Prioleau
Sam Aiken

When is the first cut date? Monday?

eb.. you care to make a wager on aiken getting cut? i already got 15k with EE...

there is NO FRIGGIN WAY that aiken doesnt make this team. NONE!!!.

he is eric moulds primary back up.. he will be receiver number 5 at the very least, and kffl reported that we may keep as many as 7 wrs this year.

I can't see them cutting Aiken either. Not with the way they are talking him up. They would make themselves look stupid

10K ZBs says Aiken is not on the active 53 man roster for the opener.

I'll take that bet. I can see the others being cut, but no way does he get the ax.

What's the matter Colonel Sanders...chicken? Just kidding. However if you were confident in your prediction of Aiken getting cut, it wouldn't matter if you have zero ZB's. :p:

aiken is guaranteed a spot, how can you cut a 2nd year player before you even get to see him play especially when he is tearin it up in training camp

3rd year...

this team was 6-10...there are very few guaranteed spots, especially for somebody who has never contributed (injury or not)...

I am pretty sure Aiken was a rookie last year EB.

You people are absolutely nuts if you think Aiken is getting cut absolutely ceritifiable. As far as not so surprising cuts Bannan, Sape, Prioleau.

P.S. No way Shaw gets cut. He is the only vet WR (6 yrs) besides Moulds, and last year was his best year. He had 56 catches for 732 yards, 13.1 YPC and 4TDs. Not great numbers, but considering the type of season the offense had, and who was throwing and who was coaching, they're not bad either.

I think Aiken makes it easily, probably as the number 4 WR. Sape is definitely gone, and Bannan might be as well - the victim of a numbers game at DT.

Keith McKenzie may also be gone, if Spicer or Ritzmann show anything.

Spicer has some ability, and was solid at Western Carolina should be intresting for him to get some time

I was at the night practice on Wed. and there is no way in hell that Aiken is getting cut. The guy caught everything that came his way and seemed to have some decent moves in the open field. Shaw will be gone before Aiken is.

ya beat me to it. my guess is that they will keep moulds, reed, evans, aiken, coleman, and whoever wins the KR/PR job, probably antonio brown. shaw's the odd man out.

Yeah, I think Shaw is a more likely cut than Aiken.

I think the cut down dates are both late, probably in September.

I was thinking Shaw. While he was decent under gilbride, guys like Aiken and Coleman have been having better camp performances and are younger.

August 31, 2004: Roster cutdown to maximum of 65 players.

September 5, 2004: Roster cutdown to maximum of 53 players.

September 6, 2004: NFL teams may establish practice squad of eight players

No way Aiken gets cut. I think Sullivan will stick. I could see PP getting cut though

Two weeks ago everyone was saying Peters was great and was a lock to make the team.

Now the same thing is being said about Aiken. I'm not saying neither will make the team, but I'm not saying they will either.

Let's see the Bills play against a real opponent instead of practice before saying that people have guaranteed roster spots. Some guys show up on Sundays and some guys don't - and those that do will make the team.

I'm not basing it on practice performance, justthe fact that he was a rookie last year. Yeah, let's cut Kelsay and Crowell while we're at it.

I don't think we should cut last year's #2 receiver for a 4th round pick that missed all last season because of injury.
