A strained arch kept former first round draft pick Mike Williams from practicing again on Thursday. His new would-be linemate returned. Right guard Chris Villarrial returned to the the practice field. He missed much of the week with a sore groin.

Groin injuries scare me. I hope this does not become a season long problem for Villarrial.

Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
