    Pittsford now accepts Bills

    Concerns that faced camp at opening five years ago are gone.
    What a difference five years can make.
    In 1999, a year before the Buffalo Bills moved their training camp to St. John Fisher College, many residents of nearby Alpine Drive were so concerned about potential traffic, parking and noise problems that the neighborhood association sent a letter to Bills owner Ralph Wilson, asking the team to go elsewhere.

    And now?

    “It's been fine,” said Murray Brandes, an Alpine Drive resident for 36 years. “There hasn't been any excessive congestion or noise for me. I think a lot of people in the neighborhood were quite apprehensive. It didn't turn out that way at all.”
