All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This decision may end up costing us the game. I know that is a bit strong, but it was a huge momentum shifter. You have to at least try a field goal, if not then GO FOR IT. We needed points there badly. 17-10 is a lot better than 24-7. WHo punts from the 31?
It was a very bad decision especially seeing the result of the punt...I don't think that is the difference. The difference is awful tacking on the defense. You take the bad tackiling and no big plays and the team as a whole doesn't stand a chance. Time of posession is ridiculous. I have to tip my hat to NE. They are playing better as a team.
Terrible call. If we were up by a couple touchdown's and our D was playing half way decent, then maybe punt, but that was terrible. You have to go for it. Even if the punt was downed on their 1 yard line, it would have just meant they would have a 99 yard scoring drive, instead of 69.
It was a gamble that GW lost. I think he was trying to fire up the Defense and show he had some faith in their ability to stop the Pats. Unfortunately, we have a player called Chris "I can't tackle" Watson playing CB for us.
