WGR reports everyday from camp that Gildon has looked old.

I did not concentrate on him at all last night, did anyone else? I know I did not hear his name called at all.

WGR55 beat reporter thinks he won't make the team.

Is that Paul Hamilton that you are referring to? he always has been one of the more honest, agenda-less reporters....

Paul Hamilton has surprised me with all the negativity from camp so far. I've tried tuning in a few times on my way home from the TC session and I get pissed off. Gildon will make the team, he did a good job IMO yesterday, behind the scenes and helped some of the other DL get to the QB.

He was also one of the first to mention that McGahee's speed was not quite there last night, and he has been pretty impressed with him so far, so that tells me that he is being pretty fair with his commentary.

Given that Gibson was yanked pretty early, I'm guessing that if Gildon goes, it will be done pretty soon, to give him a chance to hook up somewhere else.

I don't see Gildon making this team. The main reason is because of the numbers crunch at other positions. We shall see.

Every Steelers fan I've spoken to has told me that Gildon was a good pickup for us  I dunno.

gildon was in with the starters for several plays and was the one who put on the pressure that helped get our first INT..

i think he is a lock.

Nah, Gildon won't be cut, the least he can provide is very solid depth, and we're paying him pennies anyway. Unless we absolutley need a roster spot, he stays. Our backup LB's are looking very good.

He was definitely effective. He will be on the team. He will spell Posey at times and also Denney/Kelsay as well. I think he will be a nice situational guy for us. A little high priced but I don't care if it works.
