Mort is one of the better sports reporters in the business. He seems to have some really decent contacts across the league and rarely makes speculations and assumptions about players.

However, if McGahee is only 95% now, I'd hate to see what he would run like at 100%. I wonder if the 5% is refering to mentality?

No player is 100% in August.. It takes a month to get into game shape.

Because of physical and mental reservations I would only put WM at about 85% with his level of confidence rising like a bullet.
