this is an old interview.. but i thought this was interesting..

Q: What was your favorite team growing up?

T.H.: The Buffalo Bills. Even though they couldn't win the big game, they were always my team. I loved Thurman Thomas.

Q: Would you like to play there now?

T.H.: (laughing) I don't know about that now.

Who does not like the guy? I happen to think McGahee will be the better pro but I still like Henry

Not too crazy about this one:

Q: Have you heard people compare you to Emmitt Smith?

T.H.: (laughing) Yeah. I've heard that. I broke all of Emmitt's high school records in the state of Florida. I think I run better than he does. I just hope I'm blessed with the longevity and health that he's been fortunate enough to have. He's a great back.

As much as hate Emmitt, TH is dissing him without as much as a single NFL snap.

Q: Would you like to play there now?

T.H.: (laughing) I don't know about that now.

Isn't this a smack on the Bills? Am I misinterpreting? :idunno:

1. He said the Bills were his favorite team in the past. This is important to keep in mind for the next part.

2. He was then asked if he would like to play in Buffalo *now*, who at the time of the interview (actually ever since then) were not very good.

3. He then said, "I don't know about that now".

Most players that are asked that question usually say something like "Buffalo's a great team. We'll just have to wait and see what happens on draft day."

Anyway, without hearing how he said it, it is hard to know one way or the other I guess.

You forgot to add the word in parenthesis...

T.H.: (laughing) I don't know about that now.

Looks to me like he was joking around if he was laughing... :idunno: You're right though, it's hard to say.

That's cool. It must be cool be drafted by your favorite team though.
