    Henry, McGahee battle in Buffalo

The Tennessee Titans head into Buffalo this week with much of the talk regarding the Bills centering on their budding running back controversy.

Incumbent Travis Henry, a former University of Tennessee standout, is being pushed by second-year man Willis McGahee, the Bills’ first-round draft pick a year ago, despite knowing he would miss the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

McGahee made his Bills debut last week against Denver and ran 13 times for 58 yards. The Bills have plans to use both backs, but Henry has been vocal about wanting to be traded if the Bills decide to cast their lot with McGahee.

it is being a bad sisusation when a player does not want to play fo a team especially when they is young and still have drive to prove they skill.

Why is everyone jumping on this controversy BS? There is no controversy. Mularky has said time and again that TRAVIS IS THE STARTER!!!!!!!!!!! McGahee needs more time and he knows this, Mularkey knows this, and all INTELLIGENT FOOTBALL FANS know this. I'm getting really tired of the media trying to create stories just so they can look like they're doing something other than sitting on their a$$es.

There are plenty of balls to go around. We should be running 30-35 times a game anyway. Henry will get his 20 and McGahee will get his 10-12. Both men will also catch a few passes. This is better for Henry, as it will keep him healthy. This is better for McGahee, as he won't be 100% until next year anyway. I say we do this for two full seasons.

They reported on the radio this morning that McGahee may not even play with the first team and if he did it would be in formations that included Henry...

The Press always wants controversy. Makes for better stories.

Take it here in DC, since I'm forced to hear all this putrid Joe Gibbs Redskin mumbo jumbo. They're acting like there's a HUGE battle between Patrick Ramsey and Mark Brunell for the starting job, when in reality, you don't pay a guy $8mil (Brunell) to come in and ride the pine. Even Gibbs is saying its open competition so it just fuels the story.

just in case people forgot having two good runningbacks really helps an offense. McGahee will be a stud, but it takes a while to get back from his injury

Henry is the man. Until he has the fumble that costs us a game. Then it's Willis time.

He did a lot better with that last year.

Willis isn't even 100% right now, and won't be probably until a 1/4 into the season, anyways, people seem to forget that Travis Henry has been a pretty productive back the past 2 yrs. This story is already becoming a huge distraction, which has me very concerned.
