Boy, Troy Vincent was thrown on a lot last night. I hope it is just preseason.

I think they (the opposing teams) are going to test him because of his age and that he's new on this defense. I am not too worried, unless he gets beat by a second rate receiver.

I have been very adamant about my concern with the his dimnishing skills that I thought I began to see last year. I would be intrested in seeing how many times he was thrown at and what the completions, tips, and incompletes there was.

He did not play well. I think those of us that thought Vincent would be even or maybe an upgrade over Winfield were just being homers. He looked old last night. What about the little out pass where the guy turned him around after the catchand made the first down. Winfield would have made that tackle. They seemed to be picking on Vincent. If he does not step up we should go ahead and move him over to FS and start Mcgee. He looked good. Should have had an int.

Vincent looked bad. He was toast on several plays.

maybe the eagles were not as dumb as everyone is saying they are for letting thier 2 old corners go. They ought to have known if he was worth re-signing.

Vincint was outjumped in the back of the Endzone for that pass.. McNair put the ball where he had to, away from the defender. The five yard rule probably had alot to do with that catch, last year the corner would have bodied the WR out of bounds.

A FS with some size will be needed in our secondary to help in those jumpball situations.

Ditto. CB's are probably the most sensitive to aging next to RBs..maybe even moreseo. They have to react to WRs who are lightning fast, which gives them very little room for error, since the WRs know where they are going. Let's hope this was just an off day for him.

I still think its a tad bit early to make any final judgments on anyone at this point. TV has had a very good camp, and frankly, all these guys are just getting back into the swing of things.

I think Corners are exactly the opposite. Of all the players on the field, besides the QB, I think a Corner receives the least body contact. If they are able to keep their speed, like Deion, D.Green, and others, there is no limit on how long they can play. Besides, for the most part Vincent has been injury free.

And it's preseason and the older vets never really play that hard in the preseason.
