Y'know I never really checked that closely.... but since Vincent got burned by Tyrone Calico, I can assume that Clements is covering the top guy.

I think Priealeau and Wire are going to be a battle (I can at least spell Wire's name, so I hope he wins). They're both going to be the first backup at either position for the first little while, so strange as it may sound, I think a lot depends on Baker's play. If Baker looks like he could step in no problem at FS, then I think Wire stays. If Baker looks promising but still leaving some ??'s, then I think Prielou makes the team.

I just don't see any way that they'd cut Wire. I don't care how little he's progressed at FS, or how bad he covered last game... he makes the team, no doubt.

I sure can see how Wire could be cut. He is still a coverage liability, and when was the last time anyone has seen him make a monster hit? He's made some where sloppy tackle attempts the past two games. If he steps it up, I see a toss up b/w him PP, and Greer for one, maybe two roster spots.

Wire will make the team without question since he's the SS of the future. Let him sit on the bench so he can't demand a big pay day when his rookie contract is up.
