View Full Version : I don't think the Bills will sign another QB.

They'll cut Zolman (or whatever his name is) and go into the season with two active QBs.

Then they'll hope Losman is ready by November to be #3.

They should just have public tryouts for a quarterback... and then put them in a QB Competition (like on TV) with Zolman. Winner makes the practice squad.

I've seen you throw...and you're less mobile than Bledsoe.

Lets test it at the opener. You line up as QB and we will send Rich after you and see how fast you can run :snicker:

I'll get it back on topic.

As long as the coaching staff believes that Brown is a solid no. 2 they'll probably feel no reason to go out and get another QB. They did this last year with AVP, I see no reason why they wouldn't do it again.

If Zolman shows enough, he may be a candidate for the PS while Losman is out

They had no problem throwing on third down on almost every down as well.

I do NOT think what the coaches (and coaches generally pick who stays on roster for most positions not GM) did last year will have much bearing on what coaches do this year and that is a good thing.

Bring back AVP.

Whether that was joking or not... the Rochester D&C obviously feels like he was a candidate:

Didn't AVP fail his physical, thats why he was cut? I'll pass.

I'm not saying they are going to do it because it was done last year. If Losman didn't get injured Buffalo would go with three. I'm just saying that looking back at last year, knowing Bledsoe can take a hit (or 49), they'll feel comfortable with 2 QB's until Losman comes back. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, many teams went with only 2 QB's last year.

He may be able to take the hits physically but mentally it wrecks him if you didn't notice that last year.
