In the ESPN article that says that Gallery is moving to LG, Middleton says that if he is bumped off the line that he wants to be released. Wouldnt he be a good pick up to solidify our LG issues?
We should pick up Middleton!

He's worth a look if the price is right and the coaching staff has reservations about Smith being able to hold down the left guard spot.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Middleton, who continued to work with the first team Tuesday, talked of a possible shift of Gallery to guard two weeks ago and was typically blunt in assessing the change.
The eight-year veteran said he lost weight at request of the coaching staff, has played well and doesn't deserve to lose his starting job.
"Someone wants him on the field, but I don't think anyone should mess up my career or stab me in the back. When it goes down, it's going to go down," Middleton said. "When I came here, I came to be the starter. If I'm not the starter, I'd like to go somewhere else. We'll leave that for the big guy."

I'd take him on the team in a second.

Well, the Bills passed on Pete Kendall. TD said they looked at him but didn't like him. I assume that translates to Kendall is a smaller finesse guy looking for a good contract.
Now Middleton is a larger guy (6'3" 330), which fits more of what the Bills seem to prefer. He also knows how to pass block. I would have to assume the Bills would be interested, but as always, money will be the deciding factor on both sides. That and whether McNally will be willing to say flat out that Lawrence Smith can get the job done. If McNally doesn't, you'd have to think the Bills would make a bid.
But my guess is when the dust settles Middleton will still be a Raider.finsrclowns
