The Indianapolis Colts got what they wanted: a rare preseason sellout.

Saturday night's game at the RCA Dome against the Buffalo Bills is sold out and will be telecast live on WTTV-4.

It ends a 35-game preseason sellout drought for the team. The last home preseason game to be telecast live in the local market was an Aug. 30, 1986, meeting with the Minnesota Vikings....http://www.indystar.com/articles/5/173656-2355-036.html

How many people does that dump hold, about 60,000? That's sad.

Other teams have been doing that. Not right in my opinion but I doubt there is much fans can do about it. Despite normally going to preseason games, I'd not buy opener tickets which were linked to a preseason game and choose to go to another game instead.

We used to have those Shout! packs of tickets which you could use to buy tickets to 5 games a year..catch was that one of them was a preseason game.

Yea, and one year the only way you could get a Miami ticket was to buy a pack with a Preseason game at full price.

Nasty.

Ahh...but I get a discounted price on season tickets :;
My seat would cost $41 for a single ticket buyer but averaged out over 10 games, I'm only paying $33 a game
