Defensively...Our run D has been horrid, we haven't even faced any "ELITE" backs either. Griffin, Brown, Rhodes?

absolutely no one plays preseason to win. you can't judge AT ALL how well a team is going to play the regular season by how they played in the regular season. All preseason is for is individual performance. so to see how well the bills really did play, look at only one player at a time

Why would we miss Greg Williams? It wasn't Williams running the defense the last few years, it was Jerry Gray..same guy we have now. The coach on defense that it looks like we're already missing, with all the missed tackles so far, is Dick LeBeau...who I've always felt was a larger part of the success of the 2003 D than most have let on.

Preseason or not, we cant tackle anyone. I've seen RBs get out of 3 guys arms, and Sam Adams on top of them. It's getting pathetic watching it.

How can you say GW didn't have a part in the D? He's a defensive minded coach, he always has been and always will be. He was an idiot as a coach, but as a coordinator he's good.

But Gray was the one running it with input from LeBeau. As far as how good of a coordinator he really is, we'll see this year in Washington. He had Jeff Fisher looking over his shoulder in Tennessee so I'm not convinced.

If the D does end up stinking this year, I really don't think it will have anything to do with Gregg Williams. If I'm missing anybody, it's Dick LeBeau.

Dick LeBeau was NOTHING but a figuredhead. Jerry Gray has already proven he's learned some of the blitz packages and zone stuff from LeBeau. LeBeau left Buffalo because of that reason. He was bored here and wanted something to do.
