Special-teams problems that doomed their effort against the Indianapolis Colts quickly became an afterthought for the Buffalo Bills on Saturday night after losing backup quarterback Travis Brown and starting strong safety Lawyer Milloy to serious injuries.
Four days after losing first-round pick J.P. Losman to a broken leg in practice, Brown was lost to a left knee injury late in the third quarter of the Bills’ 30-17 loss at the RCA Dome.
