All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Seems to me other than the Bengals we have the hardest schedule for the remainder of the season. The Pats look like they definitely have the easiest. Fins should beat the Vikes , bears and Lions. Jets have the Lions and Bears as well.
We shall see what kind of team character GW can build during the
bye week. We should've beaten the Jets and Pats at home . Now they have both improved and we have to play at their crib!
Like someone said earlier, we control our own destiny. I know the Pats, Jets, and Fins will lose one of their games to either the Lions (except for the fins, the lucky turds got them in the first week), Vikings, or Bears. And we'll pull off an upset against GB, or SD (an SD win by then may not be an upset - I've been saying all year long that the chargers will fall apart sooner or later - sorry GB).
At this point, I think simply avoiding further embarassment and finishing .500 is a great goal. We're not a whole lot better than the stiff teams that we've beaten: Vikes, Lions, Texans, Bears
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
What's our potential? Because it seems like our "potential" will beat the Lions, Texans, Vikes, and Bears but not much else. If you're saying that the coaches are part of that potential, then I fully concur. But we've all seen that Henry needs to be run more while the professional coach Gilbride disagrees apparently! It doesn't appear that Gilbride has much potential in realizing that the rushing game is key w/ his continued and proven insistence that passing will win you the big games in the NFL.
If we can hang within 20 points of K.C. then we'll be in good shape. I can truly say that I'm expecting them to score on almost every single drive in two weeks. There is no way that we can match that by putting up 45 or 50 passes to a dozen runs.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
If this is all we're gonna get outta Gilbride, then I say get rid of him at the season's end.
If I'm Williams, I tell him to get Henry involved over the last seven games and if he doesn't average at least 22 carries a game, that he's gone.
We really don't need this issue going into next year. I'm fully expecting the hiring of some good solid DL-men and I'd like to see us in the hunt for the SB. All of this Bledsoe hoopla is going to hurt the team by insisting that we get more out of him marketing and publicity wise than we do for the team.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
