    Wilson miffed at punt call

In today's Rochester D&C, they quote Wilson as being miffed about the decision to punt on NE's 32. They quote him as saying he couldn't believe it, and that was when the game turned around.
This is the type of stuff that get s coach fired, not the record.

I said it on another thread...

When Gregg punted the ball he punted the game.

He might as well have put up a white flag on the sidelines.

Yeah, the same guy who calls time out with 20 secs left in the first half and the ball on his own twenty.
Is he on some type of hormone therapy?

He's getting testosterone shots to try to bring down the man boobs. Apparently they need to double or triple the dose.

I'm surprised that that call didn't create an even bigger controversy. I thought it was one of the worst calls in my football watching history.

GW and JG really need to show some improve to keep their jobs. They don't need a top D, but they have to show something.

GW is in big trouble now.

Williams’ decision infuriated owner Ralph Wilson.

“That changed the momentum right there,” said Wilson, who watched his team’s three-game win streak end. “I don’t know why we didn’t go for it.”

I want to know why Ralph doesn't have a headset on to stop that stupid stuff from happening.

I think Ralph listens to the fans. GW better be on good behavior the rest of the season. He is now officially on probation!

I agree BF1, that was the worst I've seen in a long time!! I'm still having a hard time dealing with it. I also think he should have reviewed the Remersma catch in the endzone.

I don't dispute Wilson is miffed, and I agree it was a dumb call, but I don't personally think that Wilson will fire his coach based on one coaching decision or one game. Nor do I think he should fire a coach based on one coaching decision or one game. I think at the end of the season the owner needs to ask, "Is the team getting better, and if not is it the coach's fault." I think the answer this year is, "Yes, the team has gotten better." Now, as the team gets better, the bar has to be set higher. If we have a 10-6 record this year, 10-6 won't be good enough next year unless there are circumstances beyond the coach's control that are significant enough that he deserves a grace period. Bottom line: I think the Bills coaches and players all had a bad game Sunday and there are things that need fixing, but knee jerk reactions rarely result in smart decisions and firing Williams or Gray or cutting Mike Hollis etc. are all knee jerk reactions.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Williams is starting to rack up a record of bad decisions.
