Thursday night - USA v. Russia

It should be a nice week of hockey.

I was quite pleased when I saw that ESPN will be carrying some of the tournament games so at least I will catch a little bit of hockey this season...

I'm pumped about this. I thought I might miss Tuesday's game but now I know I can catch it.
Some of the best hockey I've ever seen is World Cup (formerly known as Canada Cup). I will NEVER forget 87, when Gretzky & Lemieux beat the Soviets. I will especially cherish it this year since there likely won't be hockey for a while

If they run the goalie as many times vs the European teams as many times as they did against Canada, you're gonna see some eyes gouged out with hockey sticks...they don't mess around.
