Our starting defense only gave up 10 points in the first half to one of the best offenses in the NFL. Special Teams was responsible for 10 points, too. The defense reminded me of that bend don't break defense of years gone by. They gave up some heavy yardage between the 20's but not when it counted. I'm not concerned with the defense.....special teams? Well that's another story.

Exactly! We are already seeing the turnovers. Now add the pressure from the zone blitzes we will use in the regular season and add the #2 defense that we had already last year and it all = #1 defense!

Yes, I've seen overpursuit and teams have gone to draws and screens to take advantage. The Bills will NOT have the #1 D this year because they have commited to creating turnovers. This means taking chances and at times overpursuing because we will not always guess "right". D rankings are based on yardage so that ranking will not be attainable with such a style. I think the Bills staff has decided that turnovers are more important, especially with our offensive shortcomings. The O needs all the help they can get. :cool:
