He'll be the primary backup for maybe two regular season games, four at most. There really was very little available and Buffalo really couldn't wait for today's cuts because they needed to get him on the practice field for at least one day (today) before the final preseason game on Thursday. Had the game been Saturday, they might have waited.

Isn't Flutie still with San Diego? if not maybe they should of brought bac RJ and Flutie to fight for the back up position...
