All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Are any of you still seriously thinking that we can make the playoffs?

Originally posted by Wys Guy Just curious. I don't see how since we've lost largely to mediocre teams while beating only the scrubs of the league.
IMO we should drop to 22nd in any power ratings after this week.
Not a chance in hell! As a matter of fact, I think we should start preparing for next season! I think we should bench Moulds, Price and Bledsoe. If we have any chance next year, we’ll need to protect these guys. I would also limit the playing time, for Clements, Winfield and Mike Williams. I would prefer contacting the league and canceling our last 7 games but they told me no back in 2000 when I lobbied for it.
This league is so up-and-down, I'd say absolutely. We have as good of a shot as anyone. We get Antoine back for a tough game at KC. Right now, the Faiders are doing exactly what it says, fading. Right now, we have as good of a chance of any. And is SD as good as advertised? Come on now, this team has a shot. Give them time. They are still young.
The NTRA...GO BABY GO!!!!!!!
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT WILLIS!!!!!!!!!!! Touchdown Wills McGahee!!!!!
Not with a defense that has gotten progressively worse than last year and a HC that should be manning the Gatorade jugs for a team in the "down and out at the blue Chevy before traffic comes" league
What's gonna stop K.C. from getting 60 points in that game?
Just curious? Because it ain't gonna be our D!
I think you'd have more hope waiting for the tooth fairy.
Wys.............you never know. OUr D could show up in that game. I am not holding my breath but they could. Stranger things have happend. KC's D had been worse than ours and then they held the Raiders to 10 points. Don't cash it in yet.
You'd like to take all of these problems into next season for the first half while we struggle our way through our first 6 or 8 games next year?
Not me. That's also not much of a team philosophy if you ask me.
What are you talking about? I agree with you. It doesn't matter that we have the 5th best record in the AFC! We're not going to make the playoffs. So that's why I suggested benching our Superstars. That way they don't get injured or carry bad tendencies over until next season. I think we should try to get the Buffalo Destroyers to finish out the season in place of the Bills. That way we don't have to worry about a thing carrying over.
"Wys.............you never know. OUr D could show up in that game."
That was a good one! Hooooo...
It hasn't shown up yet! Why would it later? As a matter of fact, we're currently on pace to allow 60 more points than we did last year. If that isn't coaching, then I don't know what is.
Many give us credit for Lucas' tossing the ball to Clements twice, fumbling the ball away w/o any provocation or being forced twice, and for a tipped ball that landed in our laps. I see it for what it was; namely a raw QB that had a horrendous day largely making unforced TOs. That's all it was and our performance to date in the other 8 games support that and more.
K.C. will have at least their average number of points and IMO another 20+ on top of it. This season is over. What can we do with it for next year?
I'm not sure I can stand yet another year of "defensive improvement" leading to almost 600 points allowed next year.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
