Whats up with this scrub? This guy looks like he can make some plays out there....Is it becuase hes in there for a certain amount of plays? or is he pretty good? ....Ive watched him the last couple of weeks and it looks like he could beat out some of your starters at times.....Hidden Talent?

But do you guys think that part of his success is do to the fact of him sharing his playing time???? and I believe hes an UFA next year.

Dont worry. If it turns out that he sucks, will cut him and Miami will pull him from the barrel

I want Irons to start, he's been our 2nd best DL thus far this year.

GW just has his head shoved too far up Gilbride's....

Yeah , he's our future. That's why we play him so much.
Iron's has earned more playing time.
BUT, we need Eddie Robinson, the coach on the field. Reason being.....................I don't even have to say it.
So much for the teachers.

What did Thurman, Reed, Bruce do with there new teams that makes you think we should of kept there high salary...Wiley was a FA who left and was not cut. Nails was a bust in the NFL until he finally got his head out of his tail and lost weight and is doing a decent job for Miami.
The only reason Miami didn't go after Fina was because they signed Leon Searcy before Fina was available and they didn't need another over the hill player.

Irons is a Restricted FA next year not UFA

I like Irons but he's no savior. He has good size and enthusiasm, but he's not especially fast. While at Notre Dame he had a bunch of injury problems, or he probably would have been drafted late. He's obviously better than Ryan Denney who's making a lot more money. Hopefully the fact that he's been able to keep free from injury this year will enable him to develop, and maybe even get a little faster. He hasn't done enough to make him too expensive to sign. I think TD might offer him a contract with a moderate increase in pay and maybe insert some incentive bonuses. Hopefully it'll be a 3 or 4 year deal.

Irons has some good physical abilities. Put a good linebacker behind him and a better second DT beside him and he will play very well.

I read and heard that he is one of the hardest workers on the team. In the weight room, in practice and in the film room.

I hope Grant will be a hard worker, and a stud like another undrafted FA that i know (Big Pat)
