The same ones Kerry thought were accurate! Remember only after Dean started pulling ahead in the primary polls for his anti-war stance did Kerry (dare I say) flipped flopped and become against the war. Thats why he voted for the 87 million and then voted against it! Also don't forget he had the vote from Congress to go into Iraq, including Kerry's vote! We lost a hell of a lot more men in vietnam (almost this many daily and Johnson never got approval from Congress.

OK your right, but the funny thing on the show "After Hours" with R. Reagan Jr. all the panel including the dems on the show said that was one of the smartest segments of any of either's convention and in baseball terms they all said it was a home run of an idea! I don't understand it, but they all said it was brillant!

cause that's the way you make it sound. That is was all Bush's decision and that he alone went into Iraq without anyone agreeing or having the same believes. Again 87% or around there that is was the right thing to do! I bet if we went back and checked you were backing it also!

Wait a sec... you said "many were screaming that he should never have gone into Iraq". Who are those "many" you are referring to then?

As for the thinking part, given the information we had at the time, it made sense to go in. Saddam had refused inspections for years; kicked them out; refused to let them back in; reports we had said he had WMDs; no secret he hated the US and had already invaded one country; had already been to war with the US; terrorists were known to hang out in Iraq....

At what point do you say enough is enough and take him out? How many more bulls**t excuses do you swallow from him? How long do you let it go unchecked?

Government by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives.

A political or social unit that has such a government.
The common people, considered as the primary source of political power.
Majority rule.
The principles of social equality and respect for the individual within a community
In addition you claimed that Bush rushed to war despite the "many" who opposed it. You still have not defined many, only told me that you could care less about the other countries and the 99.9% of others.

Conversely, if 100 people thought slavery was ok, then would it be moral to reinstate it? Of course not. But nothing is perfect. You have to pick a form of govt which does the best it can. In the case of democracy, majority rules. What other form of govt would go against the majority and listen to those 100 people?[/quote]
