I bought it tonight and played a few games. I can't really figure out how to do the jukes and tension increase/decrease but nonetheless it's a sweet game. I heard there is a way to edit songs that play after goals but I haven't figured that out either.

Also, I set periods to 7 mins, but whenever I play a game each period lasts 20 mins?? WTF?

I was thinking the same thing. Not to sound like a "Board Nazi", but I don't see why we'd need 2 threads on the same topic.

Of course, SkateZilla, you didn't exactly call yours 'ESPN NHL2K5', you called it ESPN NHL 2005---Which is similar to EA's title.

I have the ps2 version and I don't think it allows me to control music at all (other than volumes on the rink).

I think when I set the period time to 7 mins, it shows it at 20, but simulates the time to run faster.

The only real beef I have so far is my defense plays soooooooo slow and other teams really get a lot of fast breaks against me. Also, when I try to up the tension level it NEVER works and it's starting to piss me off.
