Jets Cut QB Ricky Ray

The New York Jets announced Sunday they have released the following players: cornerback Andrew Davison, defensive tackle Alan Harper, defensive back Omare Lowe, wide receiver Terrence Stubbs, quarterback Ricky Ray, defensive end Matt Walters, fullback Derrick Ward and guard Dave Yovanovits. The announcement was made by Jets’ Executive Vice President and General Manager Terry Bradway.

If Ray is willing/eligible to PS it, I'd choose him over Zolman in a second.

The Carolina Panthers released Rod Rutherford. I wouldn't mind putting him on the practice squad.
