Navy Constuction Battalion . You see the Marines hitting the beaches in those platforms? The Seals clear the beaches and the SeaBees ( www.seabee.navy.mil/ ) take care of building the platforms and clearing mines, etc. As my brother describes it a wrench in one hand and a gun in other.
Thanks for compliment on site. Not a lot of publicity but I was linked in article in Rochester D&C on how to find Bills info.
