How '04 picks fared in cuts
A total of 37 draft choices were released and another 20 were placed on injured lists, meaning 197 draft choices made 53-man rosters. Jaguars fourth-round choice Nick Maddox was the highest draft choice released. He was a gamble because he was out of football for three years and finished up at Delta State. He lost out the fourth defensive tackle spot to former Cowboy Willie Blade. Most -- if not all -- of the released draft choices are expected to sign on practice squads. The four fifth choice choices who were cut included defensive end Antonio Smith of Arizona, defensive end Nathaniel Adibi of Pittsburgh, defensive end Claude Harriott of Chicago and offensive tackle Sean Bubin of Jacksonville. Twenty-two of the 54 seventh-round choices were released.

Bills seem to be doing better than average (only one who was cut was resigned to practice squad) but they got less than number of players as well.
