I would rather see the Bills play like crap in the opener and beginning of the season and finish a lot stronger than the way they teased us last year.

Face it man. We aren't in the same league as the premier teams.

I love your optimism, but we just lost a game that we should have won...
I've informed my wife that she should expect a beating....

Yes we should have won. The loss might just be good for the team though.
Last year we were full of ourselves after the opener.
This year I think the players (especially the D) might realize that we're not good enough yet.
In the long run if MM can get them to realize that they need to play hard EVERY SERIES then we can win. The series before the end of the first half and the series that ended the game were pitifull. If they played as hard then we would have won 10-3.

Ok Guys...
there were actually alot of small positive things here that should be noted
1) Bledsoe (for the most part) has been re-programmed I do not remember a single game last year that Drew released as quickly as he did today
2) McGahee is ready to make a huge impact: did anyone notice he was able to push the pile an additional three yards once initial contact was made? If the healed knee was a pharse than today would have exposed it, instead we can put stock in the fact that he is legit
3) Aside from the one rare fumble Moulds is back up to par
4) Pressure on QB almost all day
5) Take aways!
We won't really know the front of the horse from the rear until we get to see a few more games, but I have to say I have some guarded optimism even in the midst of the loss. Time will tell, but it looks like a solid foundation has been built. Oh...if I'm not mistaken only one official sack.
