First off- i have to drive 6 hours to the games- so when it looks like a lock, I split for the parking lot. It's the difference between getting home at 10 PM and midnight. ( I gotta work Mondays :( )

With under 3 minutes to play McGahee looks like he's got a first and 10 at the 25 - game over. Even with the holding call, Clements has to call something to get you at least within FG range, or at a minimum, something that will make it 4th and short where you can go for it. We just gave them a net of 18 yards on the punt? Terrible!

If Mularkey has no confidence in Lindell from that range- then cut him.

I don't fault the defense at all for the last drive- some circus like catches on 4th down with good coverage -not a lot more you can do without risking a pass interference call.

i said the same thing at Santora's.they have ZERO confidence in him.

he should've been given the shot to go after a 50-51 yarder.

I agree...if they have no confidence in him between 45-50 yards then get someone in here that can get the job done.

I agree with you...that holding call can be looked at as the turning point of the game...without that call the game is likely over and we have a win. But I also question why we were in that position to begin with. The offense needed to score when it was on the one and we already missed a field goal. So I blame the entire offense for being inept myself. They just didn't put the game away like they need to.

Cut Lindell? And just how many good kickers do you think are out there? We knew that sorry ass Lindell was going to cost us some games bro. What could we have done? Like Parcells said, you just can't dial 1-800 and produce a player.

Maybe the call was a little conservative, but the coaches did the right thing given the circumstances. Play to the strength of your team! it should have worked! How the hell does leftwich convert on three consecutive 4th downs? he was in the zone and there didn't appear to be a damn thing we could do at that point. We had our opportunities to win and we as a team failed to capitalize.

I'm only suggesting that you cut Lindell if - as the head coach- you are making football moves that aren't sound (Running on 3rd and 12) based around a lack of confidence in your Kicker.

If I were the coach- put him in on that one. Wind was at his back- and if he makes it Lindell's confidence is boosted. Miss it by a hair and you can say it was a 52 yarder on the edge of his range. Miss it badly, and you know you need a new kicker.

Miss it the Jags have the Ball on the 40 and still need a TD-

Agreed... But I Think We Should Take A Look And See Whats Out There As Replacements. Lindell Is To Risky At This Stage Of The Rebuilding Of The Team. WE Need A Kicker We Can Count On To Be Able TO Hit Fieldgoals In THese Situations.

The play call in that I dont Like is 3rd down and long after the holding penalty. I would have liked to see a pass and get the first down then run the clock out.

Cut Lindell? And just how many good kickers do you think are out there? Lindell's not exactly a good kicker either.
