    Cap Savings on Lindell...

Since he is a vested veteran, they are on the hook for his salary this year...even if they cut him today...

    2004 $0
    2005 $250,000
    2006 $950,000

    I say cut him.

let's not be too hasty.the coaches should have had him kick that 50 yarder.if he would have missed, then i would agree and say cut him.it would be easier to accuse lindell for the loss.

Exactly, I am not a fan of his at all. But there is no other options out there......I was wondering why Seattle wouldn't match our deal for him...Now I know why.

Todd Frances who got cut by the Giants looked real good in preseason would be my choice to bring in for a tryout...

Frances looked so good that they brought in Steve Christie a 42 year old, 13 year veteran who is a clutch kicker but can't kick off worth a damn. If there was one thing that Lindell did well yesterday it was kickoffs. He is getting it behind the 10-yard line fairly consistently.

How much would we have left under the cap to sign a replacement for this year?

The Bills are $5 mil under the cap...depending on Schobel's new contract...
