All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I really think they need to use McGahee more at the goal line. The guy knows how to get it in. Henry just puts his head down and plows ahead. Willis can elude people at the line of scrimmage.
If a pass was to be in the equation it should have been when least expected..on first down. If that didn't work then they should have run it the rest of that series, including going for it on fourth down.
Well, Henry got three TDs against Jacksonville last year from the goal line. But I don't see it as a bad decision to let Willis try once.
Hey Pat, that was your corner, was Shelton covered on the play?
It was right in front of me. The Defender played it great and had a very good angle. Drew maybe could have put it high and tried to lead shelton in the corner. it would have been a tough play. However, if he throws that ball right to Shelton, a good play by the defender (not a great play) and he could have very easily gone 103 yards the other way.
They should have put McGahee in, he has a knack for finding the endzone as witnessed in preseason. If Henry is in there he has to learn how to leap over the pile instead of just trying to bury it up in there everytime.

From the angle the TV showed it, he was wide open, but Drew actually pulled the ball up and looked like he was gonna throw it to him, then on ESPN, they showed an angle further back. There was a DB there with him. Who knows if Shelton could have bowled into the endzone though, anything was better then a sack a that point.
