Summerall didn't sound bad because he is so old he can only get out the names of the players before he's out of breath. There were several times last night where he'd just go "PRIEST Holmes...." and then he was done talking, leaving one of the Moron Brothers to fill in the 5 seconds of dead air.

I think it was the other way around. Summerall could only get 2 words out before being interupted by those other windbags.
