I look over and see some dude that looks like Pride. So I say, “What’s up” because I’m not really sure if it’s him. The possible Pride looks at the ball in my hands and says, “What, do you bring your own ball to the games” Wasn’t a big fan of the way it was said, but regardless, I explain that I caught the ball and the possible Pride examines the ball but not before issuing a disclaimer that he’s not going to take off with it, like that was even an issue.

He had respect for the ball. Actually the guy with him was very interested in the ball also. The bringing a ball to the game line seemed to lack respect.

I had no idea that you would have caught a ball in-game. I see you walking down the tunnel after halftime holding a football, first instinct was that you brought it in with you to get it autographed since you are in the first row. I said it jokingly and with a smile.

Maybe you had a little too much booze which made you really paranoid? lol Especially considering that I had met you and shook your hand (twice) about an hour and a half prior to that encounter, and you didnt recognize me.
