    Moral Dilemma

OK, here's the deal. I made a trade, and as we're waiting for it to be approved by the commish, the other coach puts a message on the league site saying to enjoy the trade, but that he meant to hit reject, but for some reason hit the accept button.

    Here are the details:

-When I offered him the trade, his RB's were S. Alexander, Moe Williams, and LaMont Jordan. I offered him Lamar Gordon and Tiki Barber for Alexander . . . that most likely improves is total output, so I think it's a good move for both of us.

-Sometime after I made the offer (I think) he worked out a deal to trade Gonzalez for Rudi Johnson.

-Both trades are still awaiting final approval.

-The trade forces him to cut a player, and he made that choice as part of the trade (Jordan). The choice to cut is part of the acceptance process, so I don't understand how he could have hit the wrong button . . . Coudn't he have just hit the "back" button?

    What would you do:

    1) say thank you very much and move on
    2) offer to undo it 100%
    3) try to find a compromise

i'll let you decide what to do, but most people in their right mind would not give Alexander for Lamar Gordon and Tiki

If he had to cut a player for the trade to go through he knew what he was doing. I'd say tough luck and keep the trade.

I agree. He couldn't have gone "Oops I meant to reject it" if he had to drop a player to do so. Too bad, so sad.

. . . and then the commish rejected the trade.

I'd quit the league. Sure, it's not balanced, but there was no collusion involved.

What deal is it that you don't agree on?

The first two I thought it was set on total votes so it vetoed them. When they did the trade again of Rudi Johnson for Gonzalez I accepted it.

If there is a problem we can have a league vote on it.

Like I said, I didn't know I was gonna be vetoing them. I thought it was set on total votes and my vote would just be added.

Obviously since I rejected with my vote I don't agree on the Alexander for Barber deal but lets hear what everyone else thinks.

We'll have a vote. You need 6 approved votes and we'll accept the trade.

                    My vote is rejection.

                    Accept- 0
                    Reject- 1

This started out as a thread about what I should do myself; I didn't mean to stir things up this much.

One could argue it's not a totally balanced deal, but at the time, it was a deal that would put more points on his scoreboard.
