TKO! TKO! TKO! TKO! TKO! TKO!

ESPN didn't even list it as one of the top hits of the week. They really like the Bills. I'm sure if Ray Lewis made the hit it would be play of the year though.

Yeah, that really pisses me off that TKO's hit is no where on ESPN, it's clear that they have no respect for the Bills but come on, that was a great hit.

I'll make one & post it later.

I was kinda pissed - they didn't even show a replay of it, and the live game view wasn't that great.

It's all about TiVo- I saw plenty of slow-mo replays

I agree that the national media has no respect for the Bills, save Berman and Tim Russert, but on the other hand, you have to earn respect, and other than the first two games last year and a couple of shootouts in '02, the Bills haven't done that.

Me too, but they usually show clips from at least one other angle - or a close up.. very disappointing.

First Bills hit in a long time that brought me out of my seat at home. I really thought that was the end of the game there, kind of the defensive exclamation point.

Unfortunately, I think him holding the ball kinda woke the Jags up a little.

What else would you expect though? I doubt half the commentators even know the outcome of the game yesterday. The NFL is comprised of 7 or 8 teams in their view.

How about the useless celebration after the hit. Dude, just get back to the huddle and stop this team from winning the game.

a little negative pal, don't ya think. Your probably the type of guy who dances around the bases and then talks smack to the third baseman after hitting a home run on a little league field in slo-pitch. :loser:

TKO's hit was UNREAL!!!! He lit that dude up, and man it was nice to see us dishing hits like that out... I hope there's more of them to come this year!!
I am SOOOO ticked that the hit didn't make any replay segments.. That "Jacked Up" crap on the countdown to Mon night ( Mind you they did show some sweet hits ) But I really expected to see TKO's hit on there!

That was because CBS did not have many camera crews on what was not the most sought game. There is quite a difference between the number of cameras in the various crews which is something instant replay opponents point out.

Jim Kelly never celebrated?

I don't recall him ever celebrating after throwing a pass when he needed to get into the huddle or to snap the ball in the last minute to win a game. I am sure he never did a Nazi march either.

If you stop them on 4th and 16 celebrate all you want!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not buying this. I think him whipping the crowd into an absolute frenzy with a 5 second dance is worth more than just standing there doing nothing. It wasn't like he wasn't in position when the next play started.

TheGhostofJimKelly
09-15-2004, 11:31 AM
Well, I look at it this way, I know what happened after his march. I know Jacksonville went down the field and scored. I don't know what would have happened if he went right back to the huddle and the team was ready for the next play.

qcsabresfan84
09-15-2004, 12:51 PM
im pretty sure that he was ready for the next play seeing as the next play was an imcompletion. nice try though.

What if Spikes was ready and he intercepted the pass? But by not being ready the pass was incomplete.

Fair enough.

What if that celebration totally infuriated Jimmy Smith and he said to himself, F Spikes, if that ball is thrown to me I am going to catch it.

You are really reaching now man.

qcsabresfan84
09-15-2004, 02:25 PM
Yea, big time reach. You dont think that it would be enough motivation that the game iis on the line and this is the first action that hes been preparing for for the last 8 months? I dont think he needs a dancing defender to make him want to catch the ball.
